Writing Christmas Wishlists
All of the Cottontail children are now writing their Christmas Wishlists which they will leave on the window sill for the Christkind. Peter wishes for a ball, Willow for a book and little Charlie for a rocking horse!

Lovely!! I hope they all get the presents they wish for! They´re good children. They deserve nice gifts.
I love the way you set up Charlie. It seems he´s thinking about what he´s going to add to his whislist.
By the way, I´ve never heard about Christkind as a gift giver.. Is it a tradition in your country?
It is not a tradition in New Zealand but it is for some people at least in Germany, Austria etc. though Santa Claus (Weihnachtsman) is also popular. You can read about it on this website:

Thanks for the link. It´s a lovely tradition. In Spain the Three Wise Men are the ones that bring presesnts on the 6th of January. Santa Claus is also popular but nothing compared to the Three Wise Men. We have to wait a bit more to get Christmas presents but this way Christmas last for longer..
Sorrel Cottontail told Charlie about this and he feels sorry for all of the children since they have to wait so long to open their presents. I think though that it is great that different countries have different traditions. Well, Santa Claus is taking over unfortunatly in my opinion.

Das Christkind kommt auch hierher zu uns nach Franken! 🙂
I hope all of their wishes come true! ♥ They look like lovely children and everyone deserves a special treat on Christmas! 🙂

The children have started to do little things around the village to show the Christkind that they are all very good children.
