WOW! It is july already! I am sorry that I did not post this yesterday but since I had to run 3.6km and I am not a very sporty person, I was very tierd by the end of the day and forgot. I do not really like this picture that much since the house building does lack some detail and if I had not seen this in magazines, I would not have thought sylvanian. I really do not like most of the seaside sets… On the other hand, it will be my birthday this month (Hurray!). I have also purchased two sylvanian puzzles and only one piece was missing and it was posted yesterday so should be here around next week. I apologise for the bad photos but these are the sellers pictures that I viewed. Have a good weekend!

 

 

It was another lovely day in Basswood Creek and Henry Doormouse had started to prepare a picnic for Tabitha Tidytail and himself.

After he had finished, Henry collected Tabitha from the bakery where they had arranged too meet at ten o’clock. “Oooh! This is lovely!” exclaimed Tabitha as she saw the picnic site.

Since the pack of cards that Henry owned were in his pants which had an unlucky dip in the water when he was fishing the day before, they dug up carrots and did a bit of gardening instead of play a game of cards.

“This is a marvellous crop though we really need to plant more since it is always such a pity when we have to start harvesting carrots from the bigger settelments of sylvanians”

“How right you are Tabitha, it would be nice to also grow corn or something like that so when families and the school go camping, they can grill corn over the fire” Henry replied,

“Yes, and marshmellows with freshly baked crackers from the bakery to make smores” Tabitha added eagerly,

“Don’t forget the yummy chocolate though!”

They both laughed as they dug up and watered the carrots.

Once they were happy with their efforts, both Tabitha and Henry sat down on the picnic blanket to eat the freshly harvested carrots, warm cheese buns and crisp apples, fresh from the Blackberry orchard. To wash it all down, they drank milk and Henry fetched two cups of fresh spring water from a nearby stream.

Just as Tabitha planted two carrot seeds to replace the ones that they had eaten, Henry got out the flower that was in the basket.

“Tabitha, I was wondering if, I mean, you are not the perfect mouse but-”

Unfortunatly, Henry did not have the time to finish his sentance because Tabitha tripped and fell over the carrot bed.

“Are you okay?!” He gasped then realised that she was unncontious.

Luckily, Ashton Fisher was nearby and heard the scream that Tabitha had uttered when she fell, Henry sent him to fetch Oliver and Elisabeth Buttermilk.

Oliver and Elisabeth came at once after Ashton had told them why they where so very urgently needed.

“We will take her into the clinic just till she has awakened and he can have another look at that leg, I do not think that anything is broken but we just want to be sure” Oliver explained.

Tabitha woke up just after she had been placed in the clinic bed after her x-ray, fortunatly, nothing was broken but she would have to walk in crutches since she badly sprained her ankle.

Slowly, thousands of tiny details about her day flooded back into Tabithas mind, including what Henry had said to her, she had been wrong about him, he did not love her after all.

“Take this medicine please Tabitha, it will be a bit bitter but it will help your leg recover quicker” Nurse Elisabeth explained, holding out a large spoonful of grey blue liquid.

Nurse Elisabeth helped Tabitha hop over to Oliver so that he could do the final examinations of her now bandaged up ankle, meanwhile Henry had his head in his hand because it was obvious what Tabitha thought about him. Nurse Elisabeth handed Tabitha some crutches which she gladly accepted and hobbled over to Henry and then out of the door.

Henry foud Tabitha a short while later at their picnic site.

“Tabitha, what I said before, you, well, you needed to hear the end.”

Tabitha waited patiently as Henry rummaged in a pink box behind a tree.

“Tabitha, I was wondering if, I mean, you are not a perfect mouse but no one can be perfect so I was wondering, if, maybe, you would still like to marry me?”

Tabitha whispered something to Henry and suddenly a broad grin appeared on his face.

Now, Henry showed Tabitha the box that he had hid the whole day behind the tree.

With a reasuring glance at Henry, she opened the box and gasped.

Inside was a silver beaded necklace, bouquet of flowers, a veil and a beautiful wedding dress. Even though by now the sky was cloudy, Tabitha felt that all of the suns in the world were smiling down at her and giving off warmth as she gazed into Henry’s eyes.

Here is the long awaited story, the wedding will take place soon though the date has not been decided yet. Millie was over the moon with joy when she heard that Tabitha is going to be her new Mummy. Have a nice week!

Oh WOW!!! I bought the Sylvanian Families country market this week. I have wanted this set ever since I saw it it the catolouge in 2013, now, seeing Kyrajas one, it brought back those feelings and since Toyworld had 20% off sylvanian families, I decided to buy it for $80 instead of the regular $100. So, here it is!

So here it is when I opened the box, stickers, a box full of small, detailed things and the beautiful building itself.

The Cottontail family will run this store till their friends, the Beaman Ginger Cats join them (they own the store) So, lets have a look at it!

Ah, first of all before the decorating.

I am sorry that I did not take that many pictures due to my excitement. Here I am just starting to cut the walpaper which is very tricky to do because of the shelves. Now, I apologise to you Kyraja since I did NOT want to copy your design and choice of wallpaper. It was only this morning that I had another look at your country market and realised. I was going to do a yellowish wallpaper with white flowers but decided on the pink with white dots.

Here you can see it all finished and I added and/or replaced some of the things inside. I love this little book corner that Connie is showing you.

Peter will show you through the rest of the store.

“Here we have the girly section, we display a different dress every week and above we have a girly pink and purple cup and saucer set along with a glass swan. Our natural perfume will come soon and will soon be available to customers.”

“Now beside all of that girly girly stuff is the shelf for the babies. We have toys and a number book on one side and  basic baby care items on the other.”

“The whole side wall here is covered in toys pretty much. One one of the shelves are combs, brushes and a glass bear while under it we have toy and doctor or parenting books and witth two baby related books and the range of baby things here, it makes babysitting a breeze.”

“On this little piece of furniture we have two baskets filled with goodies. On the top there are two books and a small childs rattle while on the bottom there is toothpaste, suncream and handcream.”

“Here is where we keep medicine and soaps etc.”

“In this little draw up the top there are letters that you can write and post”

“and at the bottom are prescription forms”

“Your shopping can be made a whole lot easier when you use our shopping trolley or basket”

“And for the little ones, there is a special seat for them to sit one which makes shopping fun!”

“There is even a pick up window if you are in a hurry or have dirty boots on”

“Beside the window, there is a poster which tells you about the medicines”

“Up here, there is plenty of room unless daddy buts up the table and chairs so that shoppers can enjoy some tea or coffee.

“Since the chairs can fold down, storage is not an issue”

“Tea anyone?”

Ahh, I just love my Country Market! Part three of Tabithas story will come next week, Henry- I will not say anymore but a few of you already can already guess what is going to happen.

After a delicious breakfast of bread, jam and hot cocoa, Miss Tibitha Tidytail was just brushing her teeth. She was thinking all about this wonderful village, she had arranged to stay with a bear family called the Marmalades.

“Well, I must get going!” she exlaimed, glancing at her watch.

“You can come here when ever you want” Henry Doormouse  commented, taking her arm, they both looked into each others eyes.

“Daddy, we need to go to Nursery now!” Millie exclaimed, frustrated. Way to ruin a moment!

So, Henry took Millie to the Nursery where she could play with her friends and take part in play dough making later that day.

After spending the morning taking a long jog around the lake, it was lunch time and Henry ordered a nice slice of bread and tea for his lunch. “I recommened your Bakery to Tibitha Tidytail, she is the mouse that came to my door yesterday.”

“I know who she is silly, everyone knows now, Millies been telling everyone, news spreads. Actually, Tibitha is in my bakery just now, see”? Dorothy Fisher said.

Henry turned and saw into the pretty face of Tibitha Tidytail and gasped. The plate shattered as it hit the floor and made a sort of soup with the tea he was letting glide out of his cup. To Henry however, he did not notice a thing, but Dorothy did.

“Hello,oh, I think I should go now” Chelsea Blackberry said, looking at the expression on Dorothys face

“Who gave you that flower?” Henry asked

“Micheal Dream” she giggled, blushing scarlet. Henry eyed her questioningly, not sure what to expect next but Chelsea was already examining the bread.

“Henry Basil Doormouse!”exclaimed Dorothy furiously,” clean this up right now. I shall not have mess in my bakery AND my four year old daughters Annie and Lulu are more careful with their cutlery than you are.”

Henry felt uneasy and glanced at Chelsea for help but she just starred at him.

“HENRY!” shouted Dorothy now, really angry that he was not paying attention to her.

Quickly Henry took the objects in her hands, it was not good to be on Dorothys bad side, she could become very unpleasant.

Thinking that he had caused enough trouble for now, he setteled himself on the soft grass and fell asleep.

He dreamed about Miss Tabitha, valentines and mothers day…

“HENRY!”

He awoke, thinking that he had forgotten to do something at the bakery, but instead of looking into Dorothys angered face, he saw the gentls paws of Rose Caramel.

“It is six o’clock, what about your shift-”

Henry sprang up and ran aways shouting that he was coming.

“Sorry that I am late but I am here now!” he blabbered as he ran in.

“Woooah!” He ran straight into Tabitha Tidytail who was talking to waiter Douglas McPurr

“Henry!” exclaimed Douglas, helping Tabitha to her feet, “That is no way to treat a lady!”

It turned out that Tabitha was going to have dinner at the restaurant and Henry was going to make a scrumptious desert. He had just placed the sugar on the stove to turn into a suggary syrup.

“HENRY!” whisper shouted Douglas as he saw the burnt sugar in the pan. “Stop looking at Miss Tabitha and focus!”

Henry snapped out of his daydream and still looking at Tabitha, absentbindedly took the pan off the stove. Which he promptly dropt.

I hope you enjoyed part two! Willow Cottontail and I went to the zoo last week, it was fun until I dropped her on the concrete and she has lost a tiny bit of fur on her ear =( =( =(
