Organizing for Henrys and Tabithas Wedding

img_1566-fileminimizer

“So we need three glasses Tabitha” Henry Doormouse said to her,

“Yes, yes, I have already got them Henry, gosh, I am so excited!”

“For what?”

“For our wedding of course!”

“Ah yes, so am I”

Henry and Tabitha were waiting for the arival of Evangeline Beaman who would help them plan their wedding. Evangeline had been to many weddings in her lifetime.

img_1567-fileminimizer

“So we have cups, water, paper and colouring in pencils” Tabitha listed., she was very nervous and excited for this meeting.

img_1569-fileminimizer

Very soon Evangeline had arrived and was seated and the meeting could begin.

“Evangeline, how many weddings have you been to?” Henry asked

“Well, I have been to mine, my sisters, my brother in laws, three of my friends invited me to theirs back in sylvanian city and I have also been to the Brambles cousins wedding.” she replied.

img_1570-fileminimizer

“Now, Henry, can you please draw your ideal wedding scene” requested Evangeline.

“So I would really like an arch which has flowers on it and then Tabitha and I can stand under it when we say our wedding vows” he said.

img_1572-fileminimizer

“Right. I was more thinking like this..” she drew a picture “see?”

“Umm, ok. It looks very nice but …” Tabitha mumbeled.

img_1574-fileminimizer

“I would really like an arch, lots of flowers and plants and the colour theme to be white, pink and red” Tabitha commented.

img_1575-fileminimizer

“Well, I will see what I can do. I might be able to organize an arch somehow. We’ll see” Evangeline said, gathering up the drawings. And with that she left to see where she could get an arch and decide who would be the most suitable ringboy, best man and flower girls.

img_1578-fileminimizer

Shortly after Evangeline left she returned with a whole lot of children and their musical instruments.

“Micheal Dream here has organized the music for you” she said, pushing Micheal towards Henry and Tabitha.

img_1579-fileminimizer

“Umm…”he said, unsure what to do” Well children, three, two, one!”

The children all started playing at once a song which they had come up for this and practised especially for this occasion. It was a very beautiful song and Henry and Tabitha were quite entranced.

img_1565-fileminimizer

Later that day Henry and Tabitha had finally sorted all of the wedding related things and had a big weight lifted off their shoulders. Both were very excited for the wedding…

The wedding  is going to happen tomorrow! I am so excited since Tabitha looks amazing in the wedding dress. Since I have two weeks of holidays at the moment, only one remains though =( I have had time to think of little projects that I can do this week since last week I was rather busy. I hope to make some more greenery for the village but at the moment it has been raining nearly everyday when I am not busy so I was not able to get any new foilage to dry. Have a nice week everyone!

The School Talent Show Part 3: The Talent Show

img_1633-fileminimizer

It was a sunny friday afternoon. School had finished and the children of Basswood Creek had two weeks of holidays before the next term would start.

“When is the stage going to be finished?” asked Lucille Beaman Aaron Cottontail and Eric Bramble but she got no answer since the men were too busy to hear her.

“Hopefully as soon as Anna gets here with the curtains!” exclaimed Rosie Buttermilk at her side.

“Where is she though?” Willow Cottontail grumbled.

img_1634-fileminimizer

“Look! There she is!” Lucille exclaimed as she saw Anna running up to them “Anna! Where are the curtains!”

Anna looked very unhappy as she walked up to her friends.

“Well the curtains…” she started

img_1635-fileminimizer

“So I put them outside when lulu decided that it would be a good picnic blanket and she spilt juice all over it. Then I washed them and hung them up to dry but the wind blew it away into a puddle and then some boys started playing football and it got all muddy and then Elise Robinson cut a bits out of it for her dolls and now we…”

All the girls leaned in.

“Now we don’t have any curtains. I am sorry” Anna said and slumped over.

“Don’t cry Anna, we can manage without curtains”Rosie comfoted.

img_1636-fileminimizer

“Here you are girls, the stage is finished” announced Aaron. Willow gave her father a big hug.

img_1638-fileminimizer

“See you tonight girls!” Aaron exclaimed and picked up a large pile of wood in one hand.

“Dad!” giggled Willow, “You needn’t show off how strong you are!”

“I can’t help the fact that I have so much strength!” he chuckled.

All of the girls, even Anna had to giggle at this.

img_1639-fileminimizer

Very soon most of the performers had arrived and practised one last time before the night.

img_1641-fileminimizer

“Come on everyone! I see the first parents!” Peter said urgently. So they all quickly put away their things.

img_1642-fileminimizer

It was getting dark when all of the parents had arrived but that was a good thing as it would look nicer with the spotlight that they would have.

img_1643-fileminimizer

“Welcome everyone to our talent show!” Lucille Beaman exclaimed happily, “Now without much more talking, lets get into it. First of all we have a boy band performing!”

img_1644-fileminimizer

After setting up the band began to play, Maxi Bramble on the xylophone, Eddie Beaman doing bells, Peter Cottontail on the snare drum, Ashton Fisher on the violin and Ivor Trunk on the trumpet.

img_1645-fileminimizer

After the crowd had stopped clapping Lucille came back on stage while the boys moved their instruments.

“We will now listen to Hannah Buttermilk and Francis Robinson!”

img_1646-fileminimizer

Hannah and Francis were very nervous but then grew in confidence as they started to sing their song which they had written about the sounds of natute. The audiance marveled at their beautiful singing voices.

img_1647-fileminimizer

“Now we shall have some more music”

img_1649-fileminimizer

Megan Appleseed was on the piano while Rosie and Willow played along on the flute and violin. The girls played a very lovely song and all of the audiance were entranced by the gentel music.

img_1650-fileminimizer

“Next up we will have Peter Cottontail showing you all his ball tricks!”

img_1652-fileminimizer

The crowd oohed and aahed at the tricks he performed.

img_1653-fileminimizer

“I am sure that you will all enjoy wathing this next one” Lucille promised

img_1654-fileminimizer

Rose Caramel started a ballet routine which all of the parents enjoyed very much since Rose was in perfect time with the music that the girls on the side played.

img_1655-fileminimizer

Rose was blushing heavily as she ran off stage while Lucille announced the next person.

img_1656-fileminimizer

Lisa Acorns gymnastics were truly splendid, she even got her tricky move correct and did not fall over. Her mother could not have been prouder of her daughter.

img_1657-fileminimizer

“Last but not least me and my friends will perform a dance”

img_1661-fileminimizer

The dance was performed without a hitch and the audiance clapped and cheered once it was finished.

img_1662-fileminimizer

Lastly all of the performers got together to perform one last dance and the applaus could be heard all over Basswood Creek.

I wanted to post this sooner but the weather has not been good for taking photos unfortunatly. The books have arrived and I will post a review after the wedding of Henry and Tabitha.

The School Talent Show Part 2: The Auditions

img_1583-fileminimizer

“They should be here soon!” exclaimed Rosie Buttermilk who had just finished putting the glasses on the table.

“Whoops!” cried Anna Brambel as she almost spilt the water in the jug she was carrying.

img_1585-fileminimizer

“Come over here Anna, Willow and Rosie! I have just finished drawing up the chart for the auditions” Lucille Beaman said excitedly. The girls were all hoping that many of the school children in the village would come to audition for the school talent show.

img_1586-fileminimizer

After a couple of minutes the adults arrived who would then decide who would perform on the night. Micheal Dream who taught music lessons, Matilda Billabong who taught dance and Tabitha Tidytail whos sister was an actress. The girls were very excited as they too would be trying out.

img_1587-fileminimizer

First to arrive at the medow was the boy band and they all hurried over to sign up on the chart.

img_1588-fileminimizer

Next arrived Megan Appleseed who was going to perform” river flows in you” on the piano and took the last spot on the paper. Lucille quickly drew up another table since there were still quite a lot of people coming.

img_1589-fileminimizer

Soon everyone was there and the auditions began. The “judgers” were very inmpressed with the boy band and excitedly took notes.

img_1590-fileminimizer

Next it was Megans turn and Willow and Rosie played along with the piano on the violin and flute.

img_1591-fileminimizer

Everyone gasped when Rose Caramel took to the stage and started to do her ballet routine, she landed a bit funny on one of her split leaps but made up for it with the rest of the dance.

img_1592-fileminimizer

Francis Robinson and Hannah Buttermilk now performed a very beautiful song about nature which everyone enjoyed hearing.

img_1593-fileminimizer

Everyone gasped and cheered at Lisa Acorns gymnastics and whispered about how talented she was.

img_1594-fileminimizer

Lastly, Anna, Lucille, Rosie and Willow started to perform their dance that they had been working on.

img_1595-fileminimizer

There were a lot of fabulous dance moves and the performance ended with Anna thrown up it the air and then caught by Willow and Rosie just before she hit the ground.

img_1596-fileminimizer

“After careful consideration, we have decided that,” Micheal paused for effect” that all of you can perform if you would like to!”

All of the children cheered and started talking all about the upcoming talent show.

Tabitha smiled, she loved seeing the children so happy…

Hello everyone!

As you can see it is the second series I think was released because the first series are in this order:Misty Waters and the naughty fox, Acorn oakwood prepares for winter, forest evergreens birthday suprise and Hollie Wildwood and the party concert. I have Hollie wildwood and the party concert myself and am trying to get the rest of the first series. Do you know if there is a third series like this?
